Jude Harpstar is a multifaceted and multi-genre award-winning artist who mesmerises crowds with her entrancing performances on harp and piano. Amongst the high-end clients she has performed for are F.N.B, Bidvest, Liberty Group, ABSA, ISUZU, Standard Bank, Hollard, Alexander Forbes, The Queen of Sheba III, The President and The Archbishop of Ghana, Queen Masenate Mohato Seeiso of Lesotho, Anglo Platinum, Bank of China, Nedbank, Mercedes, Bepanthen, Boschendal and Maserati to name a few.
Harpstar has travelled the world performing to diverse crowds and has won numerous accolades, amongst them the Yamaha Competition 2004 as pianist and 2 International Awards for “Best Acoustic Song” and “Best Pop/Adult/Contemporary EP" in The Independent Music Awards with her duo LU FLUR. She was also the soloist on Caroline Leisegang's album entitled "Oyeblikk", which won iTunes South African Classical Album of the Year in 2015. Jude has been a regular on television (The Wife, LegacySA, Getroud met Rugby, Idols SA, SA's Got Talent, Star Search and EENDAG), and has performed at festivals and private events in Germany, Austria, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Tanzania, South Africa, America and Ghana.
She has shared the stage with many legends in the industry, amongst them Gregory Porter, Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse, Msaki, AKA, Lira, Zakes Bantwini, Jonathan Roxmouth, Sibongile Khumalo, Kwesta, Gloria Bosman, Zoë Modiga, Pops Mohamed, Toya Delazy, Loyiso Bala and Joseph Clark. Harpstar (at age 15) was selected to perform at The Eighth World Harp Congress in Geneva, Switzerland. Jude attended the prestigious Interlochen Arts Camp and Academy on full merit scholarships and studied in the U.S for 7 years where she also attended the California Institute of the Arts and Oberlin College and Conservatory.
